Alisher Usmanov has made a £1bn bid to buy out the majority shareholder at Arsenal, according to Sky sources.
It is understood majority shareholder Stan Kroenke has yet to formally respond to the offer, but it is expected he will reject it.
Usmanov currently owns a 30 per cent stake in the club and has a personal fortune of around £11.2bn.
